Sr. Laravel Developer

Job Summary:

The organization is seeking a Senior Laravel Developer to lead the development of dynamic, high-performance web applications. The ideal applicant will be responsible for architecting solutions, optimizing code, and ensuring the scalability and robustness of applications. With extensive experience in Laravel, PHP, and modern web technologies, the ideal candidate will emphasize code quality, implement strong security measures, and thrive in a collaborative agile environment. Additionally, the individual will oversee and guide a team of developers in building and maintaining web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership-

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Define application architecture and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work extensively with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient database design and optimization.
• Collaborate with frontend teams and possess a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.
• Manage source code and development workflows using Git and related version control practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.

• Mentor, coach, and guide developers to enhance technical capabilities and professional growth.
• Effectively allocate tasks, balance workloads, and optimize resource utilization.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
• Provide regular performance feedback, recognize achievements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Clearly communicate technical concepts, project status, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate effective collaboration across development, QA, design, product, and management teams.
• Resolve conflicts professionally and maintain strong working relationships across teams.

Required Skillset:

• 6+ years of experience in PHP development, including 5+ years of hands-on Laravel experience.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong expertise in Laravel, PHP, RESTful APIs, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Git, and modern web technologies.
• Experience leading development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within timelines

Preferred Skillset:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience working with international clients and distributed teams.
